Part Fourteen

Note Positions On The Grand Staff
At some point in your musical education, you will want to learn to recognize the note positions on the grand staff. Here's a simple game to get you started.
Clicking on "Explore" allows you to play any white key on the keyboard or any black note on the staff. Clicking on "1" tests you on the lowest octave, "2" tests the next octave, and so on. A little smiling face keeps track of your progress. Your goal is to get the smile to rise to the top. Have fun!
Until you learn these note positions, this is a good page to keep coming back to, but at any time you may also move on to Part 15.
